After the events of Civil War, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) again grapples with the consequences of his choice as a superhero as well as a father. As he struggles to rebalance his life at home with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he is confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym who press him with a new mission. Scott must then learn to team up with Hope and fight alongside the Wasp to uncover a great secret from the past.
Even though he has saved the world and even the universe, and has become the best employee, there are still many people who don't recognize him as Ant-Man. In the video trailer, there are still people who actually call him Spider-Man.
After a brief explanation of what happened to Ant-Man after Endgame, the scene then switches to a room containing Scott Lang, Cassie (Scott Lang's son), Hank Pym, Hope, and Janet van Dyne. In this scene it is seen that Cassie makes a satellite that can take people to the quantum realm. “People still need help, Dad. that's why we made this. It's like a satellite for space, but for quantum." Cassie said as she tried to start the engine she was making.
Janet van Dyne, who knew that what the machine could do could be dangerous, then told Cassie to turn off the machine immediately. But unlucky, before they had time to turn off the machine made by Cassie, everyone in the room was sucked into the machine and brought them to the quantum realm. Janet as a person who had been trapped in the quantum realm said that she had a secret that she had never told her family. At the end of this video Scott and the others also meet a figure who offers to help them get out of the realm, Kang the Conqueror.
The third film from Ant-Man will be the opening film of Phase Five of the MCU. will still star actors in previous films such as Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer, this film will also include Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, and Randall Park. The film is scheduled to be released on February 17, 2023."

Songs in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumian Trailer

Some films as well as from Marvel indeed in the end often become synonymous with a song contained in the film. Taking the latest example from the movie "Thor: Love and Thunder", Marvel Studios plays the song "Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns N' Roses. Previously, there was the first Guardian of the Galaxy film with a song from Redbone entitled Come and Get Your Love. Not unlike the film "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumia", Marvel has again inserted a popular song into the video trailer of this film. This time, Marvel inserted a song from Elton John entitled "Goodbye Yellow Brick".
This song was first released in 1973 and became one of Elton John's popular songs and was included in Rolling Stone's top 500 songs of all time. The song is included on Elton John's seventh studio album of the same name. Since its release, the album has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.

Can Ant-Man Beat Kang the Conqueror?

Previously, there was a viral theory that said that Ant-Man should be able to defeat the main enemy of the previous Avengers, Thanos. The theory that emerged in 2019 says that Ant-Man should be able to shrink his body to then enter Thanos' body and increase his size so that Thanos explodes. Now, after the release of the trailer for "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumia", the theory is back in debate whether Ant-Man can defeat Kang The Conqueror in the same way as the theory. Reporting from ET Online on October 24, 2022 yesterday, Paul Rudd as the actor of Ant-Man then replied that he didn't know if this could be done to Kang because for him all parts of Kang were tough enough.

“I know what you guys are talking about, about how to kill Thanos. Some people think the theory is a missed opportunity. Well, I think you need to see what happens in the next movie. I don't know if Ant-Man can beat Kang that way because Kang is pretty tough. I find all parts of him difficult," said the 53-year-old actor.
As mentioned above, after a few shifts in its release date, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will be released in cinemas on February 17, 2023.
Filming took place from July to November 2021 and talking to Digital Spy, Lilly revealed that due to all the restrictions, it was the toughest shoot yet.
"There were just circumstances and logistics and the state of the world – you know, everything made the shoot the hardest out of any of the ones that we've made so far," she recalled.
Ant-Man 3 cast: Who's coming back for Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania?
Obviously, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are back as Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, and Hope van Dyne, aka The Wasp. They'll be joined by fellow returning cast members Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer as Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, respectively.
Scott's daughter Cassie Lang is also back, but won't be played by Avengers: Endgame's Emma Fuhrmann. Instead, Big Little Lies and The Society star Kathryn Newton will take over the role of Cassie Lang for the third movie.
Comic book fans will know Cassie becomes a superhero herself in the form of Stature, and Newton appeared to confirm that the MCU's version of Cassie will have a superheroic future in store. "I'm going to do my best to be the best superhero of all time," she teased.
Fuhrmann doesn't appear to hold any grudges at her Endgame role being recast for the third Ant-Man movie as she thanked fans for their "kind messages" after the news was confirmed in December 2020.
Newton won't be the only new cast member as it's also been confirmed that Lovecraft Country's Jonathan Majors will be playing Kang the Conqueror, after his involvement was first rumoured in September 2020, now confirmed as the Big Bad of The Multiverse Saga.
How does He Who Remains connect to the threequel? We've got you covered here. And if you're still confused, Majors has confirmed that the two characters are different: "He Who Remains is not in Ant-Man. It's Kang."
The only other confirmed cast member we know for the threequel is Bill Murray, but all we know about his character is that he's a villain.
Talking of villains, the exclusive Comic-Con trailer revealed that MODOK will be in the new movie, but we can't see him in the one released now. It could be an attempt on Marvel's part to bury the lede or feature MODOK in the next trailer, only time will tell.
Randall Park reprised his Ant-Man and The Wasp role as Agent Jimmy Woo in WandaVision, but admitted he hadn't "gotten the call" for Ant-Man 3 as of February 2021 and he doesn't appear in the trailer. He did add that he would return if asked though.
Director Peyton Reed also hasn't ruled out a potential return for Walter Goggins as villain Sonny Burch: "There's always a chance."
Talking of villains, we could be seeing Corey Stoll back as Darren Cross, aka Yellowjacket, despite his supposed death in the first movie. Lilly tagged a photo of the script in May 2021 with Stoll's name, alongside confirmed cast members.
It could just be wishful thinking, but Marvel fans also think Schitt's Creek star Dan Levy has joined the MCU too as he was spotted in London with Rudd in August 2021. Levy seemed to rule out a cameo, but he would say that...
Ant-Man 3 plot: What is Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania about?
Following the Comic-Con panel, Marvel released the first synopsis for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania: "Super Hero partners Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp.
"Together, with Hope's parents Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible."
There was an Easter egg pointing to the arrival of Kang in Ant-Man and The Wasp when Chronopolis – the city he reigns over in the comics – was spotted in the Quantum Realm, which is where we see him in the trailer.
As we mentioned above about Cassie Lang, she's seemingly got a bigger role in the threequel and it could be we see the origin of Cassie becoming Stature, one of the founding members of the Young Avengers.
We don't really know too much about what else to expect in the third movie, other than the fact that Scott and Hope will continue to be joint leads, like in the sequel. "They're a partnership, and she's a very, very important part of that," Reed explained.

"And that was a very gratifying thing, I guess technically we were the first Marvel movie with a female hero in the title of the movie." Maybe we'll finally get an answer to what happened to those missing Pym Particles from the first movie too, and what happened to Ghost after the events of the sequel.
